Donate Items

Donations can be dropped off at the Clothes Bank:

The clothes bank is in  the lobby of the  Car Park Exit, Kensington Town Hall, W8. You can access the pedestrian walkway into the lobby at the junction of Hornton Street and Phillimore Walk.

Items can be dropped off at the following times: 

• 10am – 12pm on Mondays 
• 11am – 1pm on Wednesdays 
• 2pm – 4pm on Fridays

We are closed on Bank Holidays 

We will be closed from 23rd December for Christmas holidays and will reopen on Monday 12th January 2026.

If you are not able to drop off items during those times please contact us on clothesbankkc4@gmail.com to see if we can arrange another time. Please do not leave items outside the clothes bank or at the car park loading bay.

What is needed?

We take a range of new and second-hand items.  Please could you ensure that all items are clean and in good condition. 

Clothing & Shoes:

Thanks to our donors our cupboards are full of fantastic children’s clothes at the moment so we do not have room to accept any more children’s clothes for the short term.

• Adult and teen clothing
• Shoes, especially trainers and school shoes
• Underwear and socks 

Other Items:

• Toiletries and personal care items
• School supplies
• Suitcases, bags & backpacks 
• Books
• Small Toys
• Small household items
• Adult bedding

We do not take the following items:

• Car seats
• Cots & cot mattresses
• Children’s bedding
• Baby equipment
• Bottle sterilizers
• Used baby bottles and dummies
• Prams and strollers
• Open packs of nappies or period products
• Second hand cycle helmets
• Mattresses & mattress protectors
• Large toys
• Items of furniture
• Kitchen knives
