Refugees and Asylum Seekers

West London Welcome provides holistic support to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants living in Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Ealing and Hounslow. I’m a refugee / migrant and need help – West London Welcome

Migrant Help provide advice and guidance to assist asylum seekers Migrant Help   Free helpline  0808 8010 503 (open 24/7/365) You can also make contact via  webchat or via the user portal Home – Self Service Portal 

Ealing and Acton Support Enterprise (EASE)  a local organisation offering community and help with basic needs and services for refugees and asylum seekers living in the borough of Ealing.  They provide a free grocery shop, English lessons, information & referrals to local services through a weekly drop-in on Thursday mornings. Shaw Trust  run an employability programme for refugees, providing support to find work.  Refugee Employability Programme – Shaw Trust Main 

The Bike Project take second-hand bikes, fix them up and donate them to refugees and asylum seekers. They mainly distribute via their charity partners. Information for refugees – The Bike Project

HTB run a community café for refugees and asylum seekers. Mondays 7pm-9pm at St Luke’s Earls Court, SW10 9HF. Thursdays 4pm-6pm at 117 Queen’s Gate, SW7 5LW.

Babies and Children

The Space Baby essentials, equipment and family support services  Need Help | The Space (214space.org)

Happy Baby Community offer a range of practical and emotional support options for asylum seekers who are 5 months or more pregnant or have children under 3.  Self referral is possible through the following web link: Referrals — Happy Baby Community 

Little Village provide support to families with babies and young children. Referral from a professional such as a GP or health visitor is required. Home – Little Village

The Magpie Project provides support to Asylum Seeking Mums with children under 5 in the Newham Area. Please check their website for eligibility and full details of services https://themagpieproject.org/
